ABOUT THIS PROJECT:

Terrazzo meets precision. The drafting team at Doyle Dickerson Terrazzo created a custom precast terrazzo staircase in the front lobby of the 6th Avenue Joint Health Education Center. This staircase is separated by a glass and steel railing, with terrazzo tread and riser combinations extending to the second floor level, with a custom endcaps on the exterior of the staircase design. Elsewhere, you will find another tread and riser combination staircase in which the treads are connected to the wall. Epoxy terrazzo and polished concrete are the two flooring installations seen throughout the building. The entire room displays a great balance of aesthetics.
