ABOUT THIS PROJECT:
Doyle Dickerson Terrazzo provided seamless terrazzo flooring for the Fine and Performing Arts Center at Bowie State University. The first floor of the center features a sleek terrazzo design made of beige, red, blue and black epoxy colors. Sustainable aggregates such as recycled clear glass and burgandy-colored natural aggregates were added to the mix design. A precast terrazzo tread and riser combo staircases was installed connecting the ground floor to the subsequent floors. This exquisite flooring provides a durable surface that students, faculty and visiting artists to walk on for years to come. As a terrazzo flooring contractor, Doyle Dickerson Terrazzo works with architects and general contractors to shape the future for young students by providing memorable and sustainable design.
