ABOUT THIS PROJECT:

To improve academic performance at Muller Road Middle School, interior elements like terrazzo floors were added to the building’s renovation. Doyle Dickerson Terrazzo installed terrazzo flooring and a precast terrazzo staircase in the school, using three epoxy resin colors and a nice blend of natural aggregates in creating the floor’s design. The epoxy terrazzo flows seamlessly from the school’s lobby, hallways, and cafeteria, providing a durable and appealing floor for students and teachers to walk on. K-12 schools around the country are now relying on terrazzo as a flooring solution. Terrazzo is ideal for schools because it can cover a wide range of space and support high-traffic areas.
