ABOUT THIS PROJECT:

The Garrison School of the Arts expanded its facility to make room for increased student enrollment and performance space. Epoxy terrazzo was a new addition to the school. Doyle Dickerson Terrazzo installed a neutral-colored terrazzo floor covering the school’s lobby, restrooms and hallways.

Terrazzo was an excellent choice by Greenline Architecture to install for the school. The building material solves underlying issues commonly seen in schools: cleanliness and floor maintenance. Epoxy terrazzo provides a durable surface to withstand daily foot traffic. After the students have left for home, the floors can be cleaned easily, wiping away residue accumulated throughout the day and restoring the original state of the terrazzo surface. With improved sanitary guidelines, not only does the epoxy terrazzo benefit student health but also the lifespan of the building itself.
