ABOUT THIS PROJECT:

Episcopal High School is a private boarding school in Alexandria, Virginia. The school desired to upgrade its athletic program but eventually the project grew in size, adding new offices, classrooms and a library. Terrazzo flooring contractor Doyle Dickerson Terrazzo provided the terrazzo installation, adding two logo designs in the athletic hall and library at Episcopal High School. The decorative logos used white natural stones and recycled clear glass aggregates in its design. Among other additions to the project were a sets of terrazzo precast staircases throughout the school. Terrazzo has great benefits for educational institutions. It’s durable surface is an ideal choice for high-traffic areas such as cafeterias and hallways.
