ABOUT THE ONE CITY CENTER DURHAM PROJECT:

One City Center Durham is a 27-story mixed-use project, built by Armada Hoffler Construction and designed by LITTLE Diversified Architectural Consulting. To date, the One City Center Durham is the tallest building in Durham, North Carolina.

For this terrazzo project, Doyle Dickerson Terrazzo installed over 1,924 square feet of epoxy terrazzo. The terrazzo floor is made of a 100% mix design of marble aggregates in a brown epoxy matrix. Most notably, a distinguished terrazzo pattern lies before residents and visitors upon entering the main lobby. The pattern consists of 32 square blocks, each square’s nucleus laid out with a circular design unnecessary of the aluminum divider strips.

While the terrazzo floors are stunning, the building captures an incredible view of the city. The terrazzo design aides in attracting local businesses and young professional seeking a live, work and play environment.
