ABOUT THE TERRAZZO DESIGN AT THE WILLIAMS FARM RECREATION CENTER:

Architecture Project Awarded LEED Silver

The Williams Farm Community Center is an award-winning LEED-Certified Silver project. The recreation center features indoor and outdoor courts, aquatic space, and other athletic spaces which all use sustainable elements.

The Terrazzo Floor Installation Meets Sustainable Standards

Doyle Dickerson Terrazzo installed terrazzo flooring, precast terrazzo stairs, and precast terrazzo benches throughout the facility. Using multiple epoxy resin colors with a mixture of aggregates including recycled porcelain, mother of pearl, and blue-gray marble chips, Doyle Dickerson Terrazzo provides an appealing floor for people to see. Terrazzo provides architects with an opportunity to receive LEED credits for sustainable design, making it an ideal building material to use for recreation centers and other commercial projects.
