One of the reasons why people prefer terrazzo over other flooring materials is because of it’s long-lasting surface. Although terrazzo is durable, it can also be damaged from improper installations, neglect, age or other causes. Doyle Dickerson Terrazzo can step in and restore the terrazzo to breathe new life into the floors again.
HOW THE PROCESS WORKS
When damages occur, we’ll send a Doyle Dickerson Terrazzo representative to examine the floor. After carefully measuring the floor and inspecting the issues, our team will devise a plan to execute a full restoration. This includes obtaining a sample of the existing terrazzo design and working with manufacturers to find matching aggregates and epoxy resin.
Once the sample is approved, it’s time to go to work. Doyle Dickerson Terrazzo will remove sealers and other materials to make necessary floor preparations. Next, a new terrazzo mixture is applied to the floor where installers will grind and polish the terrazzo to a smooth and shiny finish. To protect the floors, a layer of sealer is added. Now you have a long-lasting and beautiful floor.
