ABOUT THIS PROJECT:

By installing terrazzo floors at Richmond Hill Middle School, we at Doyle Dickerson Terrazzo believe terrazzo creates an environment that will influence a new culture of learning. Doyle Dickerson Terrazzo added epoxy floors to the lobby, hallways and cafeteria at Richmond Hill Middle School. One of the highlights of this project is the intricate terrazzo design that centers the school’s lobby area. Using divider strips of various sizes and angles, the installers were able to create a distinct pattern that will amaze future students and their family. Terrazzo’s durability provides a safe and spacious surface for students to walk to and from classes. After the bell rings, custodian staff can clean the terrazzo floors with ease just using a mop and warm water. Serving as a green material, it is a sought out commodity by architects who seek LEED points for their projects.
