ABOUT THIS PROJECT:

The Marion Performing Arts Center is a 25,000 square foot facility, designed as a performance center for the entire Marion School District. Doyle Dickerson Terrazzo installed epoxy terrazzo in the building’s main lobby. For this project, the architect’s created a perpendicular terrazzo design in which the the lines are curved slightly across the lobby’s floor. The architects chose two colors, gray and white, present in both the epoxy and aggregates. As a center designed to welcome the local community, the terrazzo is a high-finished surface that offers durability, design and sustainability in cooperation with other architectural elements found at the Marion Performing Arts Center.
