ABOUT THIS PROJECT:

Sustainable buildings have long-term benefits. Considering that sustainable elements use less energy and resources, commercial properties like the Southwest Georgia Regional Airport can save money over time. A cost-effective option such as terrazzo flooring can provide a durable, beautiful and easy to maintain surface that most flooring options cannot offer to architects and contractors alike. Doyle Dickerson Terrazzo installed 13,725 square feet of 3/8″ epoxy terrazzo at the Southwest Georgia Regional Airport. The project also include 810 linear feet of 6″ precast cove bases used for art displays and columns. Architects can create efficient designs with terrazzo. Whether the design supports local imagery or serves as navigational guides, terrazzo is becoming increasingly resourceful for airport projects.
